Mrs Justice Sharp

Rumours have been circulating at the Bar that when Mrs Justice Sharp was a young barrister in the 1980’s she underwent psychiatric treatment for a personality related condition. It is understood that it was her worn-out mother who insisted she sought help.
Under cover of the long vacation Mrs Sharp Sr. spirited her daughter Victoria away to the Emile Schatzenhausen Klinik in Vienna. The clinic’s motto is ‘Besser früher als später’ (Better late than never). When Victoria Sharp arrived at the clinic she apparently protested that she was not mentally unwell, but her complaint was rejected.
Her former chambers at One Brick Court, conveniently, refused to comment.
The question many are now asking is: ‘Did the treatment work?’
